Bacteriostatic water (3ml)

Sterile bacteriostatic water for the reconstitution of lyophilised peptides. Contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative — preventing microbial growth in the vial for up to 28 days after first puncture, which is what allows a reconstituted peptide vial to be drawn from repeatedly across a multi-week protocol without contamination risk. Sterile water without preservative (water for injection) is single-use only and not appropriate for multi-dose peptide vials. Standard bacteriostatic water is the correct diluent for virtually every peptide in this catalogue. The 3ml size is suited for single small or medium vials. The 10ml size is the workhorse format — enough for multiple vials, larger reconstitutions, and full stack protocols. Store at room temperature pre-use, refrigerate after first puncture.
