A synthetic heptapeptide derived from ACTH(4-10), originally developed in Russian neurology research and used clinically for stroke recovery, ADHD and cognitive decline. It modulates dopaminergic, serotonergic and melanocortin pathways and upregulates BDNF and NGF — the two growth factors most associated with neuroplasticity and learning. Users typically notice sharper focus, faster mental processing and stronger drive within days, without the jittery profile of stimulants or the tolerance build of nootropic racetams. Researched as a daytime cognitive enhancer, particularly for attention, executive function and post-stress recovery. Vial and cartridge are 10mg only — for larger sizes see the Semax Nasal Spray (20mg or 40mg in 10mL). Spray is the most convenient daily format.
Dosage
Start 0.2mg once daily; after 1 week double to 0.2mg twice daily (research range 200–600µg/day)
Duration of effect
Effects felt for 6-24 hours per dose (plasma half-life: Plasma ~20 min · Brain effects 6-24h)
