AOD-9604 (Anti-Obesity Drug-9604) is a modified fragment of human growth hormone — based on the C-terminal lipolytic region of GH — engineered specifically for fat-loss applications. It stimulates lipolysis and inhibits lipogenesis in adipocytes without binding the GH receptor itself, which means it has no effect on blood glucose, insulin sensitivity, IGF-1 or growth signalling. That selectivity is the point: AOD-9604 isolates the fat-loss benefit of GH from the metabolic and anabolic effects, making it usable in cutting blocks where carb intolerance or IGF-1 elevation would be unwanted. Originally developed by Metabolic Pharmaceuticals as an oral obesity drug. Most users run 250–500mcg daily SubQ, often pre-fasted cardio, in 6–8 week cutting blocks. 5mg vial.
Dosage
Start 0.25mg once daily fasted; after 1 week double to 0.5mg daily (trial range 0.25–1mg/day)
Duration of effect
Daily dosing; benefits build over weeks (plasma half-life: ~30 minutes)

Open-access human safety and tolerability trial of the hexadecapeptide AOD9604: well tolerated at oral doses up to 54 mg/day across multiple weeks with no GH-axis or insulin-resistance effects — confirming separation of fat-mobilising activity from full-length GH side effects.
